Two people struck by a vehicle on Market Street

Two people were struck by a vehicle Monday morning and transported to a hospital. The extent of their injuries was not determined, though they didn't appear to be life threatening, said police spokeswoman Elisa Myzal.

The driver of the vehicle that allegedly struck the pedestrians remained at the scene.
