Driver airlifted after wreck on Highway 58

The driver of a 2005 Saturn Vue was airlifted after being ejected during a major wreck on Highway 58 at approximately 4:15 p.m. this afternoon.

The driver of the Saturn was heading north on Highway 58 when the driver of a 1993 Ford F-150 tried to cross and hit the vehicle, according to a release from Hamilton County Sheriff's Office. The Saturn rolled, ejecting the driver.

The extent of the driver's injuries are not known. A passenger in the Saturn and the driver of the F-150 were uninjured.
