UPDATE: An armed man who barricaded himself inside a home he was allegedly robbing was captured by the Bradley County Sheriff's Office SWAT team, according to a release from the department.
The man was identified as Michael Long, 63.
The man was armed with a handgun, according to the release, and had barricaded himself inside the back room of the house. Long was taken to the hospital by ambulance for a check-up, according to the release.
