Chattanooga police investigate shooting that injured man near Airport Road

Police are investigating a shooting that injured man Monday evening near Airport Road, according to a Chattanooga Police Department news release.

Police responded to a person shot report about 10:15 p.m. in the vicinity of Nolin Lane and Airport Road.

Officers found a 33-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound. Hamilton County Emergency Services responded to the scene but the man declined treatment.

The man told police he had been shot in the 600 block of Kinser Circle. CPD's Violent Crimes Bureau responded to further investigate the incident.
