The Tennessee Department of Transportation is hiring operations technicians and will be holding application sessions Friday at Cleveland State Community College.

Jobs in maintenance are available in Bradley, Hamilton, McMinn and Rhea counties, TDOT said in a news release.

To apply and interview, register for one of six sessions that will be held between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. at the college, 3535 Adkission Drive. Register online at https://tinyurl.com/y7dy5z2d.

The jobs consist of labor work such as setting up traffic controls, performing road maintenance and operating equipment. The salary is $2,603 a month. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED and a driver's license, and must be able to obtain a Class A commercial driver's license with an N endorsement within 11 months. Bring proof of highest education level and resume to the event.
