One person has died in a single-vehicle crash on Highway 58 that happened late Sunday, according to a Chattanooga Police Department news release.
Police say 25-year-old Nakia McMillan was traveling north on Highway 58 when his car left the roadway around 11:28 p.m. Sunday. McMillan then struck a culvert, before continuing to strike another culvert at a high speed, the release states.
McMillan was ejected from the vehicle and transported by Hamilton County Emergency Medical Services to a local hospital where he died from his injuries.
The investigation is ongoing, and Chattanooga police ask anyone with information regarding this incident to call the homicide tip line at 423-643-5100 or submit a tip through the CPD Mobile App. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
