Jackson County, Alabama, authorities are looking for a 30-year-old inmate who escaped from a work release detail at Stevenson Park around 3 p.m. CST Wednesday.

Jericho Tidwell is described as white, about 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing about 150 pounds with brown shaved hair, hazel eyes and numerous tattoos including visible tattoos on his neck, according to a news release from the Jackson County Sheriff's Office.

Tidwell, who had been working at the park for several weeks and was in jail on a revocation of his probation, was last seen around the Stevenson Park area wearing standard orange and white striped jail clothing, authorities said. Jackson County deputies and Stevenson police searched the area but couldn't locate Tidwell.

Tidwell's mugshot shows him with a beard but he is now clean shaven, officials said. He'll face additional charges when he's captured.
