A second suspect in a carjacking was arrested last week after police were alerted to a Facebook Live video of the suspects in the car.

Brandon Cannon, 18, and Jeremy Wynn, 22, are accused of robbing two people at gunpoint on Jan. 16.

The two victims told police that Cannon and Wynn searched the victims' pockets while pointing firearms at them. They took about $330, their shoes, a cellphone and the keys to one of the victims' car, a 2015 silver Dodge Charger.

Both suspects fled the scene in the vehicle.

Later the same day, police were alerted to a publicly posted Facebook Live video showing both suspects driving down the roadway inside the vehicle.

Police noted the vehicle's interior matched the victim's description, down to specific items, including a vent-mounted air freshener and an emblem on the car seat.

Cannon was arrested Jan. 19.

Wynn, on the other hand, wasn't arrested until Jan. 29 after street crimes investigators conducted a "controlled buy" at around 8 p.m., according to court records.

Police spotted Wynn driving a stolen red Honda Accord before parking it in the 2300 block of McCallie Avenue.

A uniformed officer approached the vehicle and saw a plastic bag of marijuana in his hand and a pistol in his lap, court records show. The officer drew his weapon and told Wynn to exit the vehicle, but Wynn refused and put the car in reverse in an attempt to flee, backing into an unmarked Chattanooga police vehicle.

Police then opened the driver and passenger side doors and detained Wynn and a passenger.

Wynn claimed the pistol, the marijuana and the digital scales found in the car, court records state.

Police noted having several Facebook photos of Wynn holding the pistol, which was found to be stolen out of Georgia.

Additionally, Wynn admitted to owning several other guns but refused to disclose where they were, and admitted to smoking marijuana "every day since he was 17 and smokes about 15 blunts of marijuana a day," according to court records.

Both Wynn and Cannon are charged with aggravated robbery, carjacking, and several drug-related charges.

They also face several firearm charges, including possessing a firearm with intent to go armed and during the commission of a dangerous felony.

Wynn face additional charges, including evading arrest and two counts of theft of property, as well as driving with an expired license.
