VML Creative Director Betsy Jemas begins her paddle Thursday, July 20, 2017, on the Tennessee River at the Market Street Bridge in Chattanooga, Tenn. A team of three from VML participated in various outdoor events in the Chattanooga area as part of a new Snapchat channel that the Tennessee Department of Tourist Development created to attract people to the many things to do in Tennessee.
The Market Street Bridge in downtown Chattanooga will be closed to pedestrians and through traffic from 8 a.m. until no later than 2 p.m. Sunday for quarterly testing and maintenance, according to the Tennessee Department of Transportation.
The work will be rescheduled in the event of inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances.
Drivers are advised to use the Olgiati Bridge or the Veterans Bridge as alternate routes, the news release states.
