Man arrested for attempted second-degree murder after hitting woman with car in Harrison, Tennessee

A man is facing attempted first-degree murder charges after allegedly yelling "watch this s---" before hitting a woman with his car.

Hamilton County sheriff's deputies were called to the 9000 block of Bramlett Road in Harrison just before 4 a.m. Thursday and spoke to a group of people who said Kenneth Michael Daniel, 42, physically assaulted one woman and then hit another with his car, court records state.

One woman said she was outside her house with friends and family when Daniel pulled onto her property and called her over to his car to talk, court records show.

Daniel then started yelling at her, grabbed her by the throat and choked her, the woman told deputies.

Another woman saw what happened and yelled for help and called 911, court records show. That's when Daniel allegedly ran his car into her and sped away.

Deputies noted the woman had a large cut to her leg from being struck by the car and the other woman had red marks around her neck, court records state.

Daniel was later arrested and booked into the Hamilton County Jail on a $30,000 bond, according to online jail records.
