Chattanooga police are investigating a shooting on Rossville Boulevard after a 31-year-old man arrived at a local hospital with a gunshot wound.
The police spoke with the victim at the hospital around 5 a.m. Saturday and were told he had been shot sometime earlier in the area around the 4500 block of Rossville Boulevard, according to a news release from the Chattanooga Police Department.
The CPD Violent Crimes Bureau was notified and responded to conduct further investigation. Investigators were unable to locate a crime scene.
The police are asking the public for information regarding the incident to call 423-698-2525 or submit a tip via the CPD Mobile App. Tipsters may remain anonymous.
The investigation is ongoing and more information will be released when available.
