Car crashes into clubhouse at The Grove at Hickory Valley apartment complex

A car crashed through a fence and into the clubhouse building of The Grove at Hickory Valley apartment complex on Tuesday.

No one was reportedly injured in the crash, according to a news release from the Chattanooga Fire Department.

Hamilton County 911 received a call about the incident at 4:35 p.m. and firefighters arrived at the scene at 1521 Hickory Valley Road shortly thereafter and helped the uninjured driver out of the car.

Witnesses said the driver of the car had initially backed into another vehicle and then drove forward, through the fence surrounding the swimming pool and into the clubhouse building wall, the release stated. The car came to a stop in the laundry room of the apartment complex.
