Multiple wrecks are slowing the morning commute in Hixson.
On Highway 153 near Gadd Road, traffic heading south is affected in the area with the right lane blocked, according to the Tennessee Department of Transportation. That wreck is expected to be cleared by 8:33 a.m.
Another wreck has northbound lanes of Highway 153 closed near Dupont Parkway. That wreck is expected to be cleared by 9:30 a.m.
Avoid those areas if possible and take alternate routes.
