A 9-year-old girl was killed in a crash in Trion, Georgia, Saturday afternoon.
The girl was in a Chrysler Sebring that was attempting to turn left onto West Oak Street from the center lane on U.S. Highway 27/GA 1 in Chattooga County.
The driver of the vehicle turned into an oncoming Ford F-150 heading south on GA 1 in the right lane, according to Georgia State Patrol.
The agency is investigating the crash.
