One person was killed in a single-vehicle crash in the 6500 block of Middle Valley Road Sunday night, according to a news release from the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office.
Authorities said a 2003 Chevy pick-up was heading south when it left the roadway and struck a utility pole. The truck then overturned. The accident was reported at 9:36 p.m., according to the statement.
The driver of the vehicle was the only occupant and was fatally injured in the crash, authorities said. The driver's identity has not yet been released and the sheriff's office's Traffic Division is continuing to investigate.
