The Dalton Police Department is asking for the public's help with identifying three men who participated in an armed robbery.

The robbery happened on Friday, Sept. 13th, at the La Esquinita store on Hamilton Street, according to a news release.

Three masked males walked into the store shortly before 9:00 p.m. Two of them then pointed a handgun at the store clerk and customers inside, police said.

One of the men walked behind the counter, shoved the clerk away at gunpoint and proceeded to empty the cash register. The second man grabbed a customer around the head and face and held a gun to his head, while the third man acted as a lookout at the front door of the business. The suspect held the customer in place until the robbery was complete, the release states.

The three men then fled on foot, heading north off an alley near Matilda Street. The group was able to obtain a large amount of cash from the robbery, police said.

Anyone who recognizes any of the men pictured are asked to contact Detective Jacob Burger at 706-278-9085.
