A 15-year-old boy was arrested and charged in connection with the fatal shooting of a 40-year-old man on Sept. 28, a news release from the Chattanooga Police Department states.

On the day of the shooting, Chattanooga police responded to a call about a motor vehicle crash with injuries in the 1500 block of Pin Oak Drive. The sole occupant of the vehicle was suffering from a gunshot wound and died at a local hospital after being taken there by emergency medical personnel.
