Third suspect arrested in connection with Sunday night homicide at Hixson

Officers have arrested the third suspect in connection with a Sunday night homicide in Hixson, according to a Chattanooga Police Department news release.

Jalaycian Barrow, 23, was charged with criminal homicide and especially aggravated robbery. Barrow has been taken to the Hamilton County Jail.

Police reported to a call Sunday night and found a 17-year-old male suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound in the 1600 block of Greendale Way. He died later at a local hospital.

The two other suspects, Jermaine Grant, 20, and a 17-year-old female, are already in custody in Hamilton County and are also charged with criminal homicide and especially aggravated robbery.
