Funeral services for 8-year-old Bentley Carter Robbins have been scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia.
Bentley, a second grader at Chattanooga Valley Elementary School, was found dead Thursday night by his grandmother and his mother's boyfriend in a wooded area behind her house in Chickamauga.
That same day, Bentley was taken out of school at about 10 a.m. because he wasn't feeling well.
Last week, Walker County Sheriff Steve Wilson said that the Georgia Bureau of Investigation would conduct an autopsy to find out what happened to Bentley.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from noon until 8 p.m. and Wednesday before the service at W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Homes – Fort Oglethorpe Chapel.
