Thrasher Elementary on Signal Mountain will resume classes Tuesday after ongoing water problems related to water main break that shut down much of Chattanooga over the weekend left the school without water Monday.

Though almost a dozen Hamilton County Schools were without water Friday, the district dismissed students early as problems with water pressure and availability spread across Tennessee American Water's service area.

Though some areas were still under a boil water advisory on Monday, all Hamilton County Schools except Thrasher were open.

Hamilton County Schools announced in a post on Twitter Monday night that the school's water issue had been resolved.
