Hamilton County school board members have a lot to discuss Thursday, beginning at 4:30 p.m. with a work session with MGT Consulting Group.
MGT is the private firm hired for nearly $500,000 to conduct a facilities audit of all school district buildings. Representatives released a preliminary 10-year plan with recommendations to the school board and Hamilton County Commission in July, but there's been little talk since.
Today, the school board will hear from MGT representatives before meeting in a executive session to discuss legal matters with the board's attorney at 5 p.m.
During tonight's regular school board meeting at 5:30 p.m. the board is slated to vote on a budget amendment that would give district employees an additional $555 bonus this year, changes to its unpaid school meal policy and more.
All meetings will take place in the district's board room at 3074 Hickory Valley Road.
