The Dalton Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying a man who used a stolen credit card after two cars were broken into at a Dalton restaurant, according to a news release.

On March 18th, a group of friends reported that their cars were broken into after eating at the Guadalajara restaurant at 817 S. Hamilton Street. The items stolen included a pink Kate Spade wallet containing ID and bank cards, a Dell laptop computer, and a Nike gym bag, according to police.

When Dalton police arrived at the scene, they discovered that a victim's credit card had been charged with over $450 in purchases from a nearby Dollar General store. Surveillance video from the store captured the suspect as being a light skinned male, wearing a black Adidas jacket over a yellow shirt with jeans and a black Nike hat, the news release states.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect is asked to contact Detective Charles Williams at 706-278-9085, dial 9 and enter extension 280.
