Chattanooga Fire Department officials say an SUV has crashed into an apartment building on East Brainerd Road on Wednesday evening. It happened at Hidden Creek Apartments in the 7700 block shortly before 4 p.m.
CFD Capt. Chuck Hartung says crews are waiting for the building inspector to arrive at the scene to determine if the building is safe for residents to stay remain in. Channel 3's crew at the scene says one person has been taken to a hospital.
