Chattanooga police ask for help in identifying Easter Sunday homicide suspect

The Chattanooga Police Department is asking the public's help in identifying a suspect in an April 12 homicide of a 28-year-old man.

David Rice was found shot to death on Easter Sunday in the 7400 block of Bonny Oaks Drive, according to a news release.

When police reported to a person shot report about 3 p.m., they Rice lying on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds, the release states.

A photo of a black male suspect was obtained by investigators from security cameras at the incident location.

If anyone can identify the suspect in the photo then please call the CPD homicide tip line at 423-643-5100 or submit a tip on the CPD mobile app. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
