A second suspect in the June 22 drive-by shooting death of 31-year-old Robert Dowdy has been arrested by police, according to a news release from the Chattanooga Police Department.
Tyqurerio Jazzkem Malone, 25, was taken into custody Tuesday after officers stopped a vehicle Malone was believed to be riding in.
Malone is facing charges of criminal homicide and attempted criminal homicide. Another suspect, 22-year-old Montrell Franklin, was arrested on July 2 and charged with Dowdy's death.
Dowdy, a father of seven, was killed outside the Nine Brothers convenience store on West 38th Street.
