Brandon Deonte McDanielA suspect has been arrested today in the fatal shooting of a 25-year-old man Monday, according to a Chattanooga Police Department news release.
Brandon Deonte McDaniel, 21, was charged with criminal homicide and felony reckless endangerment in the shooting death of Donald Troutwine that occurred at a home in the 4800 block of 15th Avenue on Monday night. McDaniel is being held at the Hamilton County Jail.
Acting on a tip that was called in to police, the CPD Fugitive Unit, CPD Gun Team, Hamilton County Fugitive Unit, U.S. Marshals and ATF apprehended McDaniel today at a residence in the 2700 block of Dodson Avenue.
Earlier today, Chattanooga police had asked for public assistance in locating Brandon McDaniel.
