More than 290 people have died from COVID-19 in the Chattanooga region since the health care pandemic started six months ago, but other than age, race and county of residence, we know very little about those who have died.

These were people who lived, worked and were a part of our community, but we need your help telling their stories. Counties in the Chattanooga region and Times Free Press coverage area include: Bledsoe, Bradley, Coffee, Franklin, Grundy, Hamilton, Marion, McMinn, Meigs, Polk and Rhea counties in Southeast Tennessee; Catoosa, Chattooga, Dade, Gordon, Murray, Walker and Whitfield counties in Northwest Georgia; and Dekalb and Jackson counties in Northeast Alabama.

If you know someone who has died due to the COVID-19 virus in the Chattanooga region, then please fill out the form below. We will use this information for potential news stories and will make an effort to verify and connect with the families and loved ones of those who have died. While it's not required, we encourage those who fill out the form to leave their contact information so we can reach out with additional questions.
