Chattanooga police are investigating a homicide that happened on New Country Drive Saturday afternoon, according to a news release from the Chattanooga Police Department.
Just before 3 p.m., officers arrived at 5000 New Country Drive to find 29-year-old Christopher Trivette. Trivette was pronounced dead at the scene from an apparent gunshot wound, according to police.
The investigation is ongoing, and Chattanooga police ask anyone with information about it to call the homicide tip line at 423-643-5100 or submit a tip through the CPD mobile app. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
