Mario Donta PeoplesChattanooga police have arrested a suspect in connection to Saturday's homicide in the 5000 block of New Country Drive, according to a news release from the Chattanooga Police Department.
Mario Donta Peoples, 41, has been charged with criminal homicide in the death of 29-year-old Christopher Trivette. Trivette was pronounced dead at the scene from an apparent gunshot wound.
Peoples is being held at the Hamilton County Jail, the release states.
