Man injured, suspect arrested in Christmas Day shooting on McArthur Avenue

One man was critically injured and another man was arrested in a Christmas Day shooting in the 3500 block of McArthur Avenue, according to a news release from the Chattanooga Police Department.

Police responded to a residence around 5:59 p.m. to learn that a 52-year-old man was shot by Darrius Levon Robinson, a 30-year-old man known to the victim, in the front yard.

The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment. Robinson was arrested at the scene and was charged with attempted criminal homicide, aggravated assault and reckless endangerment.
