A fatal crash involving a truck occurred Wednesday evening on Roberts Mill Road on Walden's Ridge in Hamilton County.
Deputies responded to the 1200 block of Roberts Mill Road at about 5 p.m. after a vehicle crash had been reported, according to a Hamilton County Sheriff's Office news release.
Deputies and emergency services personnel located a crash involving one vehicle. There has been one confirmed fatality.
The Hamilton County Highway Department reported that the HCSO closed Robert's Mill Road because of the crash. The road was expected to be closed until sometime Thursday when the truck can be removed.
The cause of the crash is under investigation by the HCSO Traffic Division.
The name of the deceased is not being released until the next of kin can be notified.
