Two people have been arrested after the remains of a body were found Thursday in a burned car in Marion County, Tennessee.
Kaleb Matthew Cox and Johnbeth Charisse Holland, both 22, were arrested after investigators found the remains of a body on Game Preserve Road in the Prentice Cooper State Forest Thursday morning.
Cox is being charged with aggravated arson, tampering with evidence, abuse of a corpse and vandalism. Holland is being charged with accessory after the fact.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, Marion County Sheriff's Office, Tennessee Division of Forestry, Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency and Tennessee Department of Agriculture all participated in the investigation.
The identity of the deceased person has not been confirmed, but during the probe into the discovery investigators developed information that indicated Cox and Holland had been involved in the incident.
Both were booked into the Marion County Jail, where they are being held without bond.
