Motorists may encounter lane closures on Alabama Highway 117 in Mentone starting Tuesday, Jan. 7 and continuing for the next week, according to the Alabama Department of Transportation.
Charleston, Tennessee-based Wright Brothers Construction Co. is the contractor that will be setting arches on the new bridge over the west fork of the Little River in Mentone, ALDOT officials said in a statement on the work.
Intermittent lane closures will be possible from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. CST from Jan. 7 to Jan. 14, officials said.
