Suspect on the loose after man injured in Tuesday shooting in Chattanooga

A suspect in a Tuesday shooting is on the loose after a man was found injured, according to a news release from the Chattanooga Police Department.

Police found a 20-year-old man with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound shortly after 12:52 a.m. in the 4900 block of Greenview Drive. Police later located a crime scene in the 5000 block of Cameron Lane. Homicide investigators think the victim was chased by the suspect's vehicle from Cameron Lane to Greenview Drive before the suspect fled the scene.

The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
