UPDATE: Both suspects, 28-year-old Aaron Chippoletti and 28-year-old Erika D. Mays, are in custody. On Wednesday, around 8 p.m., both suspects were apprehended by Chattanooga Police Department neighborhood policing officers. They are charged with theft over $10,000 and are in custody at the Hamilton County Jail.

Chattanooga police have found the trailer that was reported stolen from the Chattahooligans, the well-known supporters group of the Chattanooga Football Club, but they are asking the public's help in finding the trailer's contents and two suspects.

The Chattahooligans reported the theft of a trailer filled with tailgate gear, merchandise and gameday supplies worth an estimated $18,000 in early January.

According to the group's official Facebook page, the trailer went missing from behind the Chattanooga Brewing Company at 1804 Chestnut Street.

"It's disheartening that someone would take our trailer and the gear that represents over 5 years supporting the greatest club in the world," according to the post.

Police said in a Facebook post Tuesday that the Chattanooga Police Department Auto Crimes Unit has identified two suspects - 28-year-old Aaron Chippoletti and 28-year-old Erika D. Mays. They were last seen traveling in a grey/silver Toyota Sequoia with front-end damage and tape over one of the brake lights, according to the post.
