Cargo fire on Interstate 24 in Marion County closes eastbound traffic

Interstate 24 in Marion County heading east at mile marker 152 is closed because of a cargo fire.

The incident was reported around 2:41 p.m. CST and is expected to be cleared by 7:43 p.m. CST, according to the Tennessee Department of Transportation.

Westbound traffic is not affected.
