One person died in a Tuesday night crash in the 8500 block of Snow Hill Road, according to a news release.
The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office identified the driver Thursday as 68-year-old Jan Bryant.
Deputies and emergency personnel arrived at Snow Hill Road around 9:20 p.m. Tuesday to find a crash involving two vehicles.
Investigators learned that Bryant crossed the centerline on Snow Hill Road, striking another vehicle head-on.
Emergency services transported Bryant to a local hospital where she died from injuries sustained in the crash, according to the sheriff's office.
The driver of the second vehicle was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the crash.
