The Chattanooga Police Department is working with the Memphis Police Department with the search of 50-year-old Daryl Loyd, according to a news release.
Loyd was last seen in Memphis in February of this year and was frequently in and out of homeless community shelters, according to police.
Loyd's family believes that he is in the Chattanooga-area.
