The tires of at least 20 vehicles were punctured or cut while parked in the garage beside Erlanger Medical Center in the 900 block of East Third Street, according to a report from the Chattanooga Police Department.

Police department spokeswoman Elisa Myzal said the time the vandalism occurred is unknown, since none of the vehicles were known to be occupied at the time of incident.

"At this time, CPD is working with Walden Security and Erlanger to obtain as much additional information as possible. There are no suspects identified currently," Myzal said in an email.

Erlanger spokeswoman Pat Charles said in an email that officials are working with authorities "to determine who was involved in this act of vandalism at our downtown campus.

"We are currently in the process of reviewing security footage from surveillance cameras in the parking garage," Charles said.
