An 84-year-old woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash Thursday afternoon at 2500 Rossville Blvd., according to a news release from the Chattanooga Police Department.
After an investigation, police determined a 34-year-old man driving a Ford was traveling north on Rossville Boulevard when the 84-year-old woman, who was driving a Jeep, attempted to turn left from Linberg Avenue onto Southbound Rossville Boulevard and turned in front of the Ford, causing a T-bone style crash, the release states.
The woman died in the crash, according to law enforcement.
The driver of the other vehicle was taken to the hospital with minor injuries and his passenger was also taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
