Chattanooga police are investigating a shooting that happened Saturday evening on the 2700 block of Woodside Street, according to a news release.
When investigators arrived at the scene, they found a 29-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was taken to a local hospital by Hamilton County Emergency Services with injuries that were not life-threatening, the news release states.
Chattanooga police later determined that the victim was standing next to a vehicle when he was shot by an unidentified person.
