Hamilton County Emergency Operations Center to partially activate Monday

Hamilton County's Emergency Operations Center will be partially activated at 9 a.m. Monday, according to a statement from the Office of Emergency Management.

"The EOC will have agencies representing EMS, Fire, Police, Education and Hospitals, who will coordinate all community efforts and volunteers to assist the citizens of Hamilton County during the COVID-19 incident," spokeswoman Amy Maxwell said in the statement.

Officials plan to hold a press briefing this afternoon at 3:30 p.m. to discuss planning efforts.
