Second suspect arrested in connection to September homicide

A second suspect in a September homicide is in custody Wednesday, according to a Chattanooga Police Department news release.

De'Koryon Powell, 18, was arrested by CPD homicide investigators and taken to the Hamilton County Jail.

Marshon Langford, 40, was killed in a shooting that occurred on Sept. 29 in the 3800 block of Larry Drive.

Powell is charged with criminal homicide and especially aggravated robbery.

Another suspect, a 15-year-old boy, was arrested and charged in connection with the fatal shooting in November.
