JFest postponed until August due to coronavirus

JFest was one of the last large festivals in our area to cancel or postpone due to the threat of COVID-19, but it announced Tuesday it was moving its dates from May 9 to Aug. 1.

Program Director said in making the announcement, that "With today's rapidly changing health crisis, the city of Chattanooga and our local officials are taking the necessary precautions to protect our community."

All wristbands, Fanatic packages, vendor fees, parking passes, and sponsorships will be honored on the new date, he added.

Riverbend announced it was postponing its event, set for the last weekend in May, but no new date has been announced. The Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival in Manchester, Tennessee, has moved to Sept. 24-27.
