Walker County seeking disinfecting wipe donations for healthcare workers to combat COVID-19

Walker County, Georgia, is seeking donations of disinfecting wipes to help local healthcare workers combat COVID-19, according to a news release.

Residents can drop off disinfecting wipes from noon until 5 p.m. Friday in the front of the Walker County Civic Center, located at 10052 Highway 27 in Rock Spring, Georgia.

All the wipes will be taken to local healthcare facilities where people can quickly clean surfaces as they work to limit their potential exposure to the virus.
