Two vehicles of interest in a fatal hit-and-run of a cyclist in Walker County, Georgia, are being sought by the Georgia State Patrol in LaFayette and GSP Specialized Collision Reconstruction Team, according to a news release from GSP.
The crash occurred at around 9:35 p.m. on May 16 on Georgia State Route 1 just south of Swanson Lane. One of the vehicles is a silver, older model Toyota 4Runner with several distinct accessories including an aftermarket side running boards, front brush guard and blacked-out wheels. It was seen near Murphy Oil at the LaFayette Walmart around 9:48 p.m. on the night of the crash, the release states.
