NASHVILLE - Free COVID-19 testing will be available Saturday in Bradley County as well as three other sites elsewhere in Tennessee as the state seeks to curb soaring infections in rural areas, Gov. Bill Lee's Unified Command group says.

Bradley County's testing will be at the county health department in Cleveland, 201 Dooley St., from 9 a.m. to noon and will remain open until individuals in the vehicle line are tested.

Tennessee National Guard medics and Tennessee Department of Health personnel will be at each of the four rural testing sites across the state open on Saturday to collect nasal swabs.

Participants should receive their test results within 72 hours, depending on test processing volume at laboratories. Information will be provided to participants at the testing locations on what they can expect after being tested. This information is also available at bit.ly/tncovidtests.
