Honoring veterans: Times Free Press seeks nominees for 2020 profiles

For the fourth year, the Times Free Press is inviting readers to nominate veterans to be featured in the "Twenty-One Veteran Salute," a series of profiles that will be published in the newspaper from Nov. 5 through Veterans Day, Nov. 11. To date, 63 local veterans have shared their wartime stories.

Veterans in Chattanooga and surrounding Tennessee, Georgia and Alabama counties can be nominated for our salute to service people.

If you know of a veteran deserving of this honor, please nominate them via mail at Attn: 21 Veterans Salute, c/o Chattanooga Times Free Press, 400 E. 11th St., Chattanooga, TN 37403. You may also email nominations to news@timesfreepress.com or fill out the form below. Please include the following information: Name, age, why your nominee is worthy of a tribute, and contact information for you and the veteran.

The last day to submit nominations is Sunday, Sept. 20.
