Chattanooga police are investigating a Sept. 12, two-vehicle crash on East Brainerd Road that left one dead, according to a news release.
A vehicle was attempting to turn into a parking lot at a green light when it was struck by a second vehicle traveling west.
The drivers of both vehicles and a passenger in the first vehicle were all transported to local hospitals.
On Sunday, officials were notified that the passenger, an 88-year-old man, had died from injuries sustained in the crash.
