The victim has been identified in a fatal Saturday night shooting on North Winer Drive in Hamilton County, according to a HCSO news release.
Deputies responded to a report of a person shot in the 1500 block of North Winer Drive shortly after 10:30 p.m. and when they arrived at the scene, they found the body of Thomas D. Miller, 41, of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee.
Deputies have a suspect detained in connection to the incident, the release states.
The investigation is ongoing.
